Well, this is where I would put my musings, if I ever could finish one. I'm far better at world building and planning stories than actually sitting down and working through one
from start to finish. As a result, most of what I have is either half finished, composed of disjointed sections that you'd have to use your imagination to fill in the blanks. If
I ever get around to finishing something or having enough subsequent sections to make it worth reading, It'll end up here.
As for what I'm working on right now, see below:
----------
I Sing the Body Electric - What do you do when you're at the end of your rope? When all the waits for you at the end of the day is the bottom of another bottle? What would you do if someone came and offered to help you fix that? When a drawn-out employee of the agency (That I haven't named yet) is approached with such an offered it doesn't take her long to realize that there really is only one answer she can give. Heavily indebted to the agency, she knows that without outside intervention her life can only continue on it's current trajectory. If all she needs to do is get someone access to an abandoned building then wouldn't she be a fool to deny the chance the clean the slate of her life? The only issue? Sentient things rarely are willing to down to others.
I Sing the Body Electric, if I choose to keep it that name, is really my main current project. I still work on multiple things at once because I really can't keep myself focused on a single project, but this one is the further along and more fleshed out than any of the others. Set in a cyberpunk world, it revolves around an employee, heavily indebted to her company and down on her luck after an incident in central Europe, who really has nothing left to live for. Approached by a strange man
----------
The Judas Protocol - "The old world is dying and the new one is struggling to be born. Now is the time for monsters."
The line between reality and nightmare has been blurred, the world as we know it is collapsing. The scattered pockets of civilization do what they can to defend themselves and reclaim the land that was once their homes. Though, even on the brink of extinction, man will always be man, for what good is surviving if aren't rich at the end of it. Those that have to pay with their lives on the way are just an unfortunate consequence leading to the steps of the throne room.
----------
An untitled werewolf story - Sometimes the right deed is the legally wrong one. When a disgraced cop is reassigned to a small town, hours away from the next major city, he hopes that once his case blows over, forgotten about when another case comes to the limelight, he can get back to the city and carry on as if nothing happened. After all, his boss agreeded with his decision. Who would want a rapist running around on bail? Only, he isn't a man who can just sit around for a few weeks in the middle of nowhere and busying himself with the investigation of a strange rash of dead animals only surfaces more questions.
